Instant Pot Instructions

  1. Combine the minced garlic, finely ground black pepper & brown sugar in a bowl. Then rub that mixture on to your pork on the tenderloin.
  2. Using the Sauté function on HIGH sear all sides and the top and bottom of the pork tenderloin. You’ll know it’s properly seared when there’s a slight “crust” that forms. You can achieve this by not moving it until that crust forms, watch to make sure it’s not burning. Turn the Instant Pot off once the pork has been seared.
  3. Add vegetable broth, honey, balsamic vinegar, Worcestershire sauce to the Instant Pot stainless steel pot. Then whisk to combine.
  4. Add the trivet to the Instant Pot. Using tongs, add the tenderloin to the pot placing it on top of the trivet.
  5. Put the lid on the Instant Pot, lock it, set the steam release valve to seal & cook on Meat/Stew setting for 50 minutes. When done use the Slow Pressure Release.
  6. When all the pressure is released, open the Instant Pot and test the temperature of the pork loin. You want it to be a minimum of 145F.
  7. Remove pork tenderloin and trivet from instant pot using tongs.
  8. Turn on Sauté mode on low. Add cornstarch to liquid that remains in the Instant Pot & whisk. Allow sauce to thicken by letting it sit, stirring occasionally.
  9. Once sauce is thickened to your liking spoon the sauce over the pork loin & enjoy!

Oven Instructions

  2. Place the remaining ingredients EXCEPT for the cornstarch in a shallow baking dish & bake at 425F for 30 minutes or until the pork loin reaches 145F.
  3. Remove pork tenderloin from shallow baking dish.
  4. Add cornstarch to liquid that remains in the shallow baking dish & whisk. Allow sauce to thicken by letting it sit, stirring occasionally.
